Lancashire Constabulary Open Day 3rd - 4th October 2015

Club Attendees: Geoff Taylor, Bill Hollis, Derek Sulley, Paul Ridley, Maurice Kime, Colin Chipperfield, Ron Moore, John Graham and Phil Holt.

Just to give you a flavour of the size of the crowds from this fantastic two day Lancashire Constabulary Open Day held at their HQ in Hutton near Preston.  This was on the saturday morning whilst waiting for a display in the main arena.

Our club stand was in a prime location right next to the HQ enterance itself and attracted large numbers of visitors over the two days.

Saturday morning set up prior to arrival of the punters.

As a plus our stand sold out of a large portion of the club's merchandise in fact we ran out of the plastic truncheons and both boys and girls helmets and hats early on the second day. A large number of NPMDF badges were also sold.

Geoff has informed me that the final tally was £1049 for the club and £381 for the NPDMF.  What a fantastic effort by the members manning the stand.

As well as the vehicles we also had a small model display.  These more classic models belong to Colin Chipperfield.

Whilst these more modern models were displayed by Ron Moore a.k.a. The Padwan Webmaster.

In shot a 1975 Staffordshire Police CZ250 Patrol bike belonging to Bill Hollis. The Chairmans very recognisable GMP Range Rover Classic and Paul Ridley's very smart West Midlands Police CMPG Range Rover P38.
